Just 15 minutes from Lillehammer you will find the only bobsleigh and luge track in the Nordic region, which in recent years has become one of the most active sports arenas in the country. Next winter will be the fourth round of Sliding festival, building towards the big party in 2027, with the World Championships in Bobsleigh and Skeleton

Sliding festival is not a one-time event, but a important part of the journey towards the World Championships. Yes, you heard right! In 2027, the World Championships in bobsleigh and skeleton will find place here in Lillehammer.

Norwegians love to play in the snow and for many of us sledding in the street was our first encounter with speed and g-forces when we were children. Now we take it a step further, when the world's best athletes in luge, bobsleigh and skeleton come to Lillehammer to set new high-speed records. Look forward to getting to know this unique sport in the Nordics' only bobsleigh track!
